In Singapore, I’m assembling a life. This is the account of a twenty-something’s experience moving from the United States to Singapore. I moved to this city-state in August 2009 for a position with the Centre for Urban Greenery and Ecology (CUGE), a part of the National Parks Board. I hope to use this blog to share some of my personal experiences with friends, family, and those in similar circumstances.

There are no pictures of you Dan. How do we know you are really there and not hiding out in the basement of the AG building in Columbus or Delaware?
Wow, I just started a blog about my cousin that just moved to asia. Im calling it “the adventures of college boy and his magical trees.” Subtiled-Weiner and the monkeys. it pretty enlightening.
Dan, Pablo told me about your blog and I was glad to hear about your adventures in Singapore. I’ll eagerly check your blog from time to time. I have been encouraged to start a blog. I launched and it looked awful so I took it off. I’m working on a redesign. I’m doing it through the Google blogspot arena and I may try the wordpress if I’m still not satisfied. Great to connect with you in St. Louis at the APGA.
